UP Ayush counselling 2024: stray round physical verification
Ayush Counselling Process (AACCC)
AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee) has released the dates for Ayush Counseling on 28th August 2024. The schedule is provided at the end of the blog – download and save it for reference.
Central Counseling Overview
The dates announced right now are for central counseling, which means that this counseling is done on a national level. Anyone can apply for any college anywhere. The colleges that participate in this counseling are Government Colleges, Semi-Government Colleges, Central Universities, Deemed Universities, and National Institutions.
Note: This counseling is NOT FOR PRIVATE COLLEGES.
State Counseling Dates
The schedule has also released the dates for state counseling.
Eligibility Criteria for BAMS Admission
- Students must have passed their 10+2 examination with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- They must also have qualifying scores in NEET – which changes every year.
- They should be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admission.
UP Ayush Counselling Process

2. Registration Fee Payment
Registration Fee:
- For Government / Semi Govt / Central / National Institutions:
- Gen/EWS/OBC – ₹1000
- SC/ST/PWD – ₹500
- For Deemed Universities:
- Gen/EWS/OBC – ₹5000
- SC/ST/PWD – ₹5000
Security Fee:
- For Government / Semi Govt / Central / National Institutions:
- All Categories – ₹20,000
- For Deemed Universities:
- All Categories – ₹50,000
3. Choice Filling
After submitting the application, you get to the Choice-filling page online. ALWAYS pre-decide all the college options that you want beforehand with proper analysis of all available options.
4. Seat Allocation by AACCC as per Your Choice Filling
It takes 3-4 days to process all applications, and after that you get an allotment letter of a college.
5. Reporting to the Allotted College
After getting the allotment letter, you have to report to the said college on the next day.
6. Verification of Joined Candidate’s Data by AACCC / NCISM
This is the final verification of all the documents as id card, previous qualifications, all certificates/undertakings etc.

The All India Quota (AIQ)
This is ONLY APPLICABLE to Government, Semi-Government, Government-Aided Colleges, Central and National Universities, and Deemed Universities. It is NOT APPLICABLE to Private Colleges/Universities.
15% All India Quota Seats:
- 15% All India Quota UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) Seats of Govt./Govt. aided Institutes of all States/UTs are released by AACCC in AIQ.
- Generally, all the Central/National Universities like BHU, NIA, and ITRA have 100% of their seats decided by AACCC Counselling.
Quota Percentage Breakdown:
- 15% AIQ UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) seats of Govt./Govt. aided institutes of all States/UTs.
- 100% BAMS seats of BHU, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
- 100% BAMS seats of ITRA, Jamnagar, Gujarat (except nominated seats).
- 100% BAMS seats of NIA, Jaipur, Rajasthan (except nominated seats).
- 100% BAMS seats of NIA, Panchkula.
- 100% BHMS seats of NIH, Kolkata, West Bengal (except nominated seats).
- 100% UG (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) seats of all Deemed Universities.
- 100% BSMS seats of NIS, Chennai (except nominated seats).
- 50% BAMS seats of AIIA, Goa.
- 50% BUMS seats of AMU, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
- 50% BAMS & BHMS seats of NEIA&H, Shillong, Meghalaya.

The State Quota (SQ)
The remaining 85% of BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS seats of Govt./Govt.-aided Institutes in all States/UTs are released by State Counseling, conducted INDIVIDUALLY by each state.
Additional Quota Distribution:
- 50% of seats in AIIA, Goa, AMU, Aligarh, NEIA&H, Shillong are allotted for State Counseling.
- Each state has its own dates and schedules for counseling.
